Discover the Creativity Within

This month we look at recovering our sense of abundance.  What does abundance mean to you?  Most people equate abundance with the amount of money they have, or the number of objects they possess.  Many of us spend our lives accumulating monetary wealth just to impress others.  But is this really what abundance means?

When we increase the quantity of meaningful things in our life, be it time spent with friends and family, our beliefs, our passions, our pastimes, our dreams, we change the quality of our life for the better.

12 Steps to Recovering your Creative Self

This month we want you to explore your perception of abundance and how your attitudes limit true abundance in your life.

Step 6:  Recovering a Sense of Abundance

Most of us equate abundance with money.  We will have all we want in life if only we had enough money to obtain the things we want.  So we spend hours toiling and working at our trades and professions to earn the money we think we need to find luxury and abundance.  But at what personal cost?  Abundance is not found in the designer clothes, penthouse views or sports cars in the garage.  Monetary abundance is not what defines us as human beings.  As human beings our abundance is found in the time we spend with friends, with family, and ourselves.  Recovering abundance means giving ourselves over to the things most important in life - our passions, our pastimes, our dreams. By creating a shift in our mindset, as to what abundance truly is, we create a flow of abundance in our life.  This flow affects every aspect of our lives and we are no longer blocked to receiving abundance in our life.

We know that abundance does not mean an unlimited supply of money.  This month, keep track of how you spend your time.  Write down how you spend each hour, no matter how insignificant you think the activity.

Exercise 1:

Buy a notebook and each day, date a page and track exactly how you spent your time.  For example:

     1. Spent 6 hours working
     2. Spent 1 hour at dinner with family
     3. Spent 2 hours gardening

Be meticulous and thorough.  This exercise will teach you what you value in terms of how you spend your time and will help to uncover your riches in life.  Keeping track of your time will highlight time wasted and perhaps show you where your time could be better spent - leading you to finding and recovering a sense of true luxury and abundance.  Remember:  there are people rich in life and poor in money, and others who are rich with money but poor in life.  Which do you want to be?

To begin Step 6, pay attention and be aware of how you spend your time and how you change your life as you journey toward true abundance.  As you do this exercise, remember your passions, pastimes and dreams.

Step 6:  To begin recovering a sense of abundance, I will:

June  2011:  Electrodermal Screening has arrived!

Electrodermal Screening is a process whereby electrical energy circulating through the body is measured using a highly sophisticated instrument and a computer. A healthy body has energy that is free flowing and unimpeded.

Electrodermal Screening can determine energy imbalances. As a skilled EAV/EDS technician, Susan is able to detect the energetic signature of toxins, allergies, emotional patterns, organ "weakness", etc., in the body. EDS can also screen for potential natural remedies and therapies to determine which will help restore the body's balance.
