Alkaline Diet


A diet rich in alkaline foods can reduce the acid levels in your system and help you regain optimum health.


Stay away from acidic foods that add directly to the acid content already found in your stomach.

 Beef, chicken, fish, lamb, pork, etc.   Raw fruit

 Dairy:  milk, cheese, yogurt   Raw nuts, seeds and oil

A common misconception is that olive oil is good for you.  Unfortunately, this is false.  All oils are bad for you when they are heated.


Cold pressed oils are excellent for many body functions, for glands, for cleaning the liver and kidneys as well as helping blood flow and your bowels. 

Healing Foods


Some foods should be avoided because of their destructive nature and the harm they can cause the body.  If the bowel is in trouble; if it has a toxic pocket or constipation problems, or loss of tone which can cause the bowel to run after eating; these issues must be addressed and cleared with proper nutrition first, before the bowel can be healed.

White grains - enriched white flour, pasta,    white rice, bread, cereals, cakes, pastries, bagels, etc

Whole grains - oat cereals, shreddies, bran flakes, rye and whole wheat bread, spelt bread, brown rice, brown pasta, multi-grain bagels, etc.

Dairy - cows have 4 stomachs but we only have 1 stomach and therefore we cannot digest what they can.  Dairy destroys the bowel. Soya milk - very organic in its ability to create hormones for your bones to develop properly and can make menopause a milder experience.
Rice milk - use this instead if you don't like soya milk.
Almond milk - grind ¼ cup raw almonds to a powder in blender and add 4 cups of water.  Blend very well.
Salt - salt is very destructive. We need plant salt instead such as kelp, celery. Celery - ground celery in your food instead.  Use kelp occasionally for its mineral-iodine content.
Caffeine - caffeine robs your body of B Vitamins and Calcium which are needed for strong bones, nerves and muscles.
White sugars - these cause yeast and can ruin the pancreas.
Preservatives - these cause damage to the liver, kidneys and spleen.





What if those “good-for-you” foods are making you sick?


Remember the “Four Basic Food Groups”?  How you learned you’d be healthy if you ate a “Balanced Diet” of meat, dairy, fruits/vegetables, breads/cereals?  WRONG.  This standard American diet may make you sick because it acidifies your body and makes it toxic.


The problem is excess protein!


New research has led to an amazing discovery.  Eating too much of a good thing – protein - causes excess acid to accumulate in our bodies, leading to toxicity and disease. 


Our cells become congested with excess protein, forcing the pH (acid/alkaline balance) of our body’s life-sustaining fluids, which are normally alkaline, down to abnormal, cell-stifling, disease-producing levels of toxic acidity. 


You can turn it around!  Start looking at nutrition the right way.


To stop eating away at your health you must understand two vital points:


1. The human body is alkaline by design and acid by function.


Cells normally live in an alkaline environment and produce acid as a by-product, which is easily eliminated by the lungs.  As foods are digested, they create a residue called ash, which is alkaline, neutral or acid.  Fruits and vegetables produce a healthy alkaline ash.  But meats, eggs, grains and dairy products leave an acid ash.  Over-consumption of these foods results in so much acid that the body can become toxic, leading to the disease process.


2. The human body needs adequate protein, but excess protein leads to disease.


That’s the Protein Paradox.  Adequate protein is vital to keep cells healthy, but too much protein makes cells toxic and leads to disease.
